Masters of Language and Literacy from Kaplan University, Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Biology from the University of Texas, Associates of Applied Science in Agribusiness from the College of Southern Idaho. Certified in PE K-12, Voc. Agriculture and ESL Endorsed


Mrs. Metivier is originally from Texas where she taught at both elementary and middle school levels.  She also taught PE at the middle school and high school level as well as coached basketball, volleyball, track, cross country and tennis.  Upon moving to Colorado, Mrs. Metivier taught for three years in Poudre school district before coming to Fort Lupton.  This will be her 12th year in our district and she has served as a reading interventionists, literacy coach, and classroom teacher before moving into PE.  This will be her second year in PE and she is really looking forward to the new year.  She has a passion for teaching kids about health and wellness and hopes to develop life long healthy habits in her students. Mrs. Metivier and her husband have seven children two dogs, a pig and a chinchilla.
